In April of 2016, Publix Super Markets, Inc. distributed funds from its "Food For All" 2015 fundraiser to South Florida non-profit organizations.
This generosity supports programs that fight hunger and advocate for self-sufficiency on a local and regional level. From this distribution, $10,000 was given to the Food For Life Network.
According to Valjean Brookins, Food Services Supervisor with the Food For Life Network, Inc., "We are very thankful for the continuous support of Publix. This support has continued for ten years.
